We thought we would write a little bit about what's been happening with Hawaiian Fire recently since a few people have been asking us what's new with HF?
First and foremost we have been working really hard at getting our new website up before Thanksgiving. A lot of people have been calling and telling us that when they search for us on their i phone...we don't come up. What happened was 2 years ago apple said that the i phone would easily be able to handle flash websites on the phone so we decided to have Ozz ( aka Michael Neubaurer- (www.dragynstudios.com) come up with a really clean yet stylish flash site that was easy to navigate. We launched the site on New Year's eve 2009 and we still think it looks great to this day but it doesn't look like the i phone is going to be having flash in the near future. So, we are going to keep the same great look but switch it to HTML so that everybody with a smart phone can find all the info for HF at anytime. Since we are unveiling a new site we thought we would do an overhaul on the online store as well.
The beach has been steadily busy for us even through October which is wonderful and we have to say that your word of mouth has been our biggest advertising tool!! Thanks to all of you who have written great reviews on www.tripadvisor.com In today's social media, it's amazing how quickly word can spread about what a business does right or wrong!! We will continue to try and leave lasting
We have also been looking to expand our retail operations as well. We are currently searching for another location to open our doors somewhere in the Honolulu area. We will keep all of you posted when this happens along with a grand opening party!!!!
On a side note: One of our instructors/firefighters (Joe Toro) was on last weeks Hawaii Five-O! We just wanted to say that we were impressed with Joe's acting skills and if you missed it you should go check it out on Hulu (10/18). He plays the head volleyball coach of the UH Wahine.....we'll leave it at that so we don't ruin it for those of you who haven't seen it yet. Great job Joe!!!

A couple of the girls from the office went to run the Nike Women's half marathon a couple of weeks ago and did awesome! We're not too sure if they actually go for the
running or just the shopping and the great food in SF??? Either way, you ladies did a great job.....Malia and Wisa you both deserved the break after a busy summer. That's it for now!!! Keep in touch and hope to see
Aloha,
HF Ohana
