Smile for the Camera!

Aloha!

I hope this Monday finds everyone well! I can't believe we are in May 2011 already. All of us at Hawaiian Fire remain busy as ever and looking forward to summer in Hawaii. We hope to see you at the beach soon! The above photo was from a great group on Saturday ready to enjoy a gorgeous day of surfing!

We also just had one very special HF alum visit us and I can't believe how much of a true "surfer girl" she has turned into! If you didn't read her very special guest blog, check our our very own Surfer Girl. We are all amazed at how good she is now!!!! GO Alyssa!

If you keep up with us on Facebook, we always encourage you to send photos of your lesson or experiences with HF since we love to hear from you guys. I have the pleasure of seeing all your photos when they come back from the beach and sometimes just can't resist posting some of them so I figured I'd throw a few of my recent favorites out there in today's blog.

For those of you that haven't surfed with us yet, make sure to have Sean teach you the Buddha. He takes the saying "pray for surf" a bit too literally ;-) This guy looks so peaceful.

Even our own Surfer Girl knows how!One thing you will learn with Hawaiian Fire during the safety portion of your lesson is how to properly fall when you can control it. Now this is NOT the right way but I have to say it is a pretty awesome photo....and thanks for showing off that Hawaiian Fire logo!

And yes, once in a while our very own instructors....even the best of the best....fall. But at least he kept the hat! (sub in the famous Beach Boys song "Wipeout") Ahahahahahahaha wipeout....

And last but not least, make sure you always try and flash your best Shaka for the camera. It's the Hawaiian way.
As you probably saw on Facebook, we got 2 AWESOME deliveries from King's Hawaiian Bread and sent some of it to the beach for our students to try out. I think they dug the pre-surf snack :)
So we are anxiously awaiting some photos from Lon and Britt from the Merrie Monarch Festival. Hawaiian Fire is proud of you 2! Check out last year's guest blog from Britt and also the link to the official festival page.

So for now, I say Aloha from the whole HF crew. Come surf with us this summer but book early, it's a busy time for us and we want to make sure you get your ideal day and time! See you at the beach!
