Alooooohhhhaaaa!
Hope this Monday, March 7th, 2011 finds you all happy and healthy! Things are moving along for us over at HF. We are all gearing up for the spring breakers on their way to Oahu. It is a busy time of year for us so if you are looking to get a lesson in, make sure to call us now so we can get you into yourideal day and tour time!
The shop has been pretty busy. As I mentioned before we are definitely expanding the awesome HF brand! (and there is still more to come). I have to say our 2 newest items that no one has really seen yet since they just got in are 2 of my favorite items we have ever had! The women's tank is the best because it's more of a looser fit but still has good elasticity to it so it doesn't loose it's shape. The design on it really rocks! It's perfect for casual or dress it up a little bit too!

The news mens shirt is more of a slim fit and has a great print on the front. This shirt is a totally different look compared to some of our standard classics so it offers a little variation in your HF wardrobe.

We also have a few new hat options in store now. You have seen a few in the last post and on FB but we just added a good ole' trucker hat which is great for the beach! It comes in a variety of colors and it's adjustable so it's a great gift option since you don't have to worry about getting the right size.

Speaking of the beach...we are finally drying out here and hopefully getting back to that great sunshine and beach days we are famous for out here. I got a great hike in last week before we got hit hard with some major rain! I think half the island was out of power for a day or so! This is a great, fast and very easy hike if you are visiting and want a hike that requires little effort but has a lot of reward at the top! It's called Pillboxes because on your way you pass the bunkers the military used to use for lookouts. It's easy to find it you use Yelp and when you are done head down to Lanikai beach for some snorkeling and relaxing on the world famous coastline.
Looking towards Makapu'u Beach and Lighthouse.
Looking towards Kaneohe Bay and the Marine Corps base. Doesn't that piece of land jetting out look like an aligator's head peeking out of the water? By the way, you can see the great sets that were rolling through that day. The Winward side really had some great surf last week!
Looking out to the Moke's and Kaneohe to the left.
So I will wrap up this weeks Aloha Monday blog now but want to invite all of you former, current, future students, visitors to the island and all of you HF fans to come see us in the shop to check out our new gear, have some HF Joe coffee and hang out! 3318 Campbell Avenue.
Give us a call now to book your surf lessons! It's spring break and before you know it, we will be looking at the summer crowds! From all of us, we look forward to seeing you in the water or HF headquarters!
Love and Aloha,
Jackie & the HF crew
