Hawaiian Fire's Aloha Monday - Mele Kalikimaka & Happy New Year
By, Ryan Miller
Aloha and Happy Holidays gang! Christmas came and went faster than we can believe and now 2010 is only a matter of days away. As usual the Holiday weather has been perfect out here in the islands a
nd made for a great day for us as well as the thousands of people around the world that decided

to spend their Christmas Hawaiian style. A few days before the 25th the annual Honolulu Gift Fair took place at the Blaisdale Center. Every year before Christmas this fair takes place wi
th hundreds of booths set up with a plethora of great gift ideas from clothing to crafts and pretty much anything you can think of laid out amongst the gigantic floor plan that blows doors on the weekly sw
ap meet at Aloha Stadium. The difference this year is t
hat Hawaiian Fire had a premier booth spot and we all had the chance to display and sample some Hawaiian Fire Joe Coffee along with some of our newest clothing styles thanks to the organizat
ional efforts of John, Wisa and Kevin.
Myself, John, Dale, Kevin, Wisa, Brittany, Malia and Sean all had a chance to rotate shifts at the Hawaiian Fire Booth. With one of the best looking setups (No Bias) fitted with Hawaiian Fire banners, a great selection of HF gear and showcasing the newest addition, Hawaiian Fire Joe. This three day affair was a huge success and many people got a chance to have a smell and taste of some of our fresh roasted North Shore Blend coffee. Almost our entire stock of Hawaiian Fire Joe was taken home and was no doubt wrapped up and given as a gift to a lot of ve

ry happy coffee drinkers on Christmas morning. Not to worry though, even with the gift fair over we have plenty of "Joe" over here at Hawaiian Fire Headquarters. So feel free to come on by and have your first sample or refill your coffee maker with some of our new Holiday Blend or Coconut Roast flavors. A huge Mahalo to the organizers of the Fair for hooking us up with such prime real estate on the floor allowing us to share Hawaiian Fire with hundreds of new faces and person
alities from all parts of the island.
With the fair all wrapped up it was time for us here at Hawaiian Fire to kick back and enjoy Christmas for ourselves. We didn't have any lessons that day as is customary for the past couple years and

the Millers were treated with a very special present. Yes I'm talking about the San Diego Super Chargers which whether you like it or not, will always get a shout out on Aloha Monday this Football season. The Bolts had a Christmas day game against the Tennessee Titans and much to the dismay of Allison Hamilton (Tennessee native), the Chargers showed up to play and crushed the Mighty Titans 42-17 and all but securing the 2nd seed in the playoffs and a first round Bye. Kevin, Sean and I watched the game at HF Headquarters and enjoyed some delicious pizza and refreshing beverages While our brother Chris and nephew Nick made the trek to Nashville to watch first hand! I don't think I could have asked for much more on my X-mas except maybe for some Sunny Miller cooking but that will be coming soon in February this year along with Kevin and Wisa's little bundle of joy.
As the year winds down the HF Ohana is still hard at work getting people surfing and pumping out new styles and coffee blends at HF Headquarters. Be sure to keep in touch, come by the shop, check us out on Facebook and coming soon at our new and improved website at www.hawaiianfire.com! All of us at Hawaiian Fire hope you and your families had a very Mele Kalikimaka and we all wish you a safe and prosperous New Year in 2010!
