Hawaiian Fire Surf School-Something To Cheer About

Aloha Monday gang!

Spring Break hasn't been much of a break for the Hawaiian Fire Crew but that is wonderful thing! We are just towards the end of it now and we've been filling the HF Van with all sorts of spring breakers from every part of the world. Thanks to the hard work of the entire Hawaiian Fire Crew we have managed to get through our busiest February ever and are now just winding down the Spring Rush getting ready for the crazy Summer Days ahead. One of the traditions for the last few years has been taking the Hillcrest High School Cheerleading team for surf session. In between early mornings and performances the entire crew always finds time to catch a couple waves with the Hawaiian Fire Crew.

2009 was a great time out at Barber's Point. It was a little bit windy but we were blessed with some great surf students and some great waves. Everybody had a great time and there were plenty of smiles to be found in the water and on the beach. We took almost 30 people out in one of our 3rd Tour times. Luckily we dont have the 3 Tour schedule to often these days as it makes for a pretty long day at the beach. I know most of you are like, "Ya Ya tough job all you have to do it play in the sun and surf all day!" This may be true but remember how tired you were at the end of your surf lesson with us?....well after towing around surfers for about 4-6 hours we feel just about how you did that night after surfing. I bet it was the best sleep you have had in awhile huh? Anyways...Kevin, Ashley, Leroy and I were happy to have the Hillcrest High Knights....(I hope this is your mascot its the only Hillcrest High I saw online. Call and correct us if I'm off here) at the beach. We welcome you back anytime and wish you all luck for the rest of 2009. Enjoy a few of the photo's from that afternoon as we had everything from bellyflops to headstands going on out there. That is going to do to it for Aloha Monday this week. We will see you again next Monday, Aloha from the entire HF Crew.
